Golding Ball Winder winds balls up to two pounds

Developing the design for our ball winder was a work in progress for two full years.  It was a process of great trial and error.  Initially,Tom built the winder with nylon gears, but he was unhappy with the irritating sound they produced.

He then went back to the drawing board and came up with an innovative design that uses a secondary drive band with a bearing. Due to its belt-driven system, the winder is virtually silent when in use.  Fiber artists will find its easy, quiet, and reliable operation a pleasure to use.
